Zoom for Government has received authorization from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for Department of Defense (DoD) IL4 NIPRNet and internet-facing communications. This continues our previous DISA authority and Air Force Authority to Operate but now adds IL4 collaboration directly behind the DoD Boundary Connection Access Point or BCAP.
This authorization reflects DISA’s rigorous review and reinforces their trust in Zoom for Government as a secure and robust platform for DoD and its mission partners.
As the DoD adopts commercial cloud capabilities, DISA helps service providers and DoD mission owners work together to provisionally authorize cloud service offerings.
This authorization validates Zoom for Government on the NIPRNet (Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network) as a comprehensive platform the DoD can use for collaboration solutions up through the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) level while also allowing for collaboration with entities not residing on the NIPRnet or connecting through internet-facing communications.
Zoom for Government-authorized solutions include, but are not limited to Zoom Meetings, Zoom Phone, Zoom Team Chat, Zoom Webinars, Zoom Rooms, Zoom Events, and the Zoom client. They will be available for use by organizations in need of IL4-authorized solutions.
This authorization from DISA is relevant to all of the Department of Defense, including the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marines, and other DoD agencies.
We are honored to be a trusted partner for communication, collaboration, and continuity of operations across the DoD and its mission partners.
