Zoom Universal CCLs

The Zoom Universal CCLs are modem script files that properly enable your modem under Open Transport PPP, Apple Remote Access, and Internet Connect (included with Mac OS X). We do not provide custom scripts for other applications or uses. If you require a custom script, please contact the maker of the software you are using.

Zoom Universal CCLs (.bin file) StuffIt Expander 5.5 or later is needed to expand this file. If this program is not installed in your system, it can be downloaded for free from Aladdin Systems.

Firmware (Model 2986L only)

The latest firmware update for you modem is version 052099g-I. This firmware is the same as the original version (052099g-F) but includes the Channel 2 call waiting detection feature. This update is not neccessary if you do not use call waiting.

NOTE: To determine the current firmware version of your modem, open a terminal program such as MicroPhone LT and select the port assigned to the modem. Then type the command ATI3 (ati3) and press Return.

Channel 2 Setup Application (Model 2986L only)

Channel 2 Setup Application (.sit file) This application allows you to select a call waiting option. This application is for use with Zoom USB and external serial modems that have firmware version 052099g-I (see Firmware above).
