Tianjin Tong Guang Group Digital Communication Company Ltd. (TCBD) was established in August 2004. In 2007 TCBD was rated by the Tianjin Municipal Science Committee as a ¡°Tianjin High Technology and New Technology Enterprise¡±. TCBD¡¯s new 23,000©Omanufacture plant will have the latest equipment and a capacity of fifteen million mobile handsets per year. TCBD also has its own import and export licenses.

At present TCBD mainly engages in research, development and manufacture of mobile communication and other digital consumer products. Its major customers include China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, Samsung, K-Touch, CECT, Danaher, etc.
